Typing in Japanese!
Have you figured out how to get your computer to type in Japanese yet?
If you don't know what kind of computer you have, ask your parents. If your computer isn't listed here, feel free to comment what kind of computer you have and I'll write a guide for it.
Once you have it set up, practice writing こんにちは (hello). こんにちは is typed like this: ko nn ni chi ha. The ha, however, is pronounced wa.Windows Vista
1. Go to the Start Menu
2. Click on Control Panel
3. Click on Regional and Language Options
4. Change to the Keyboards and Languages tab
5. Click on Change keyboards...
6. Click Add...
7. Search for the language Japanese
8. Select Microsoft IME
9. Click OK
2. Click on the blue flag icon labeled Language and Text
3. Select the Input Sources tab
4. Check the box next to Kotoeri
5. Check Hiragana and Katakana under it
6. Check the option "Show input menu in menu bar"To switch between the languages, go to the menu at the upper right of the screen. It'll be labeled with a flag if on English, with あ if on hiragana and ア if on katakana.
